Well, here it is. The final giveaway of 2010. And yes, it’s Harry Potter themed.
With the recent release of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, I’ve notice that just about everyone loves this franchise, the books and the movies. What better way to show your Holiday spirit and love of a magic than with your very own snitch tree ornament? It’s pretty perfect, I must say.
This snitch is approx. 2” tall and 5.5” wide (from wing tip to wing tip). I have no idea how much it weighs, but it’s filled with stuffing, so it’s pretty light. Also, you will notice on the bottom, there is a golden-embroidered lightning bolt in Gryffindor House colors, in honor of Mr. Harry Potter himself. These will be mailed out by mid-December, just in time for Christmas. And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, well it’s just as adorable hanging from a wall or hook, for room decor.
Rules and Regs:
- I’m giving away seven. No more, no less. Why seven? Because there are seven books. Duh.
- After the first seven, the SECOND SET OF SEVEN people to send me a message in my ask box wins. This is to give everyone a fighting chance. I’ll send you a message within 24 hours notifying you if you’ve won.
- Only send one message. If you send more than one, you will be DQed.
- After 24 hours, if I don’t get 14 responses, the last seven people to send me a message gets one. Just a fail-safe to ensure I give out all seven.
- Everything is free. Same deal. No charge for shipping or handling.
- You can’t pick your House colors. I will only be making lightning bolts in Gryffindor colors. If you’re a Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or even a Slytherin, sorry but you’re just going to have to deal. HP was a Gryffindor. You can’t change that.
- Only respond if you seriously want them. As usual, I can’t stress this enough. If you’re not comfortable giving out your address to a stranger, don’t reply. I’m not going to message you numerous times to try and get your address. If you don’t reply within 24 hours, I will assume you don’t want it and will give them away to the next runner up.
Just a note: The embroidery I did really sucks. So don’t be too disappointed if your turns out lopsided or something. Also, for all you anal Harry Potter fans, I do realize the lightening bolt is backwards (wah wah). This one will not be sent out.
